07878827758Why Pigeon Proofing Your Solar Panels Matters
Solar panels create the perfect sheltered environment for pigeons and other birds to nest beneath. Once established, nesting birds cause significant damage — blocking ventilation, corroding wiring, voiding manufacturer warranties and reducing panel efficiency by up to 30%.
At Same Day Roof Repair Limited we install high-quality mesh and clip systems that seal the gap between your panels and the roof, preventing birds from accessing the space underneath without affecting airflow or panel performance.
We cover all property types — domestic homes, commercial buildings and agricultural premises — across Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Sheffield. Our team works safely at height and leaves your roof clean and tidy on completion.
Galvanised Steel Mesh
Heavy-duty UV-resistant mesh clipped directly to your panel frames — no drilling into panels or roof tiles.
All Panel Types Covered
Compatible with all major solar panel brands and mounting systems, including flat-roof and pitched-roof installations.
Existing Nest Clearance
We safely remove existing nests and debris before installing proofing, ensuring a clean, hygienic finish.
Warranty Safe
Our installation method does not void solar panel manufacturer warranties — no fixings penetrate the panel frame.
Prevents Wiring Damage
Bird droppings and nesting materials corrode cables and connectors. Proofing eliminates the risk before it becomes costly.
All Areas Covered
Serving Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Sheffield — domestic, commercial and agricultural properties welcome.
